Lending a Paw in LA: Our Donation to the Pasadena Humane Society

We’re proud to be supporting their work helping pets and pet parents in the aftermath of the Eaton Fire.

Following the devastation of the Eaton Fire — the second most destructive fire in the history of California, affecting 14,021 acres across Los Angeles County — thousands of pets and their parents are in need of support. Lovet has made a $10,000 donation to the Pasadena Humane Society in support of their mission of providing care and resources to individuals affected by the Eaton Fire. As part of their fire response, the Pasadena Humane Society is providing emergency response, boarding for lost pets, care for community cats, a pet food pantry, and evacuation centers for small and large animals in the area.

This donation will allow the Pasadena Humane Society to continue their critical work in support of injured and displaced animals affected by the fire. The organization’s proximity to the Eaton Fire means they are currently seeing a significant increase in pets in need, and additional funds help make sure there are no constraints to the critical lifeline they’re providing.

We made this donation as part of our dedication to providing better care to more pets in our communities and in the world. But we’re not stopping at $10,000! We've invited our colleagues to join us in support of the Pasadena Humane Society and will be matching up to $5,000 in employee donations.

Giving back at Lovet is a core component of our mission. To learn more about how we lend a paw, click here. To learn more about the Pasadena Humane Society’s efforts in assisting animals after the Eaton Fire, click here.
